Household Junk & Debris

Most standard hauls - furniture, boxes, general clutter, construction debris - go directly to licensed transfer stations and landfill facilities. In our service area, that means working within the Iowa DNR's designated disposal network. Every county in NW Iowa has a designated facility, and we route our loads accordingly based on the job location.We don't cut corners by dumping illegally or dropping loads somewhere they don't belong. Transfer station fees are a real cost built into every job we do - that's part of why junk removal isn't free.

Appliances

Appliances require special handling under Iowa law. The Iowa DNR requires that all discarded appliances - including refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, and air conditioners - be processed by a licensed, permitted appliance dismantler before they can be recycled or disposed of.This means we cannot simply drop your old fridge at the curb or toss it in a landfill. We route all appliances to Accurate Appliance, where hazardous components - including refrigerants, PCB capacitors, and mercury-containing devices - are safely removed before the metal is recycled.This process protects our groundwater, our air, and our community. It also costs us money, which is why appliance removal carries an additional fee on top of our standard load pricing.

Tires

Tires are not accepted at standard landfills or transfer stations in Iowa. We route tire disposal through Heartland Tire. Like appliances, tires carry an additional per-unit fee to cover the cost of compliant disposal.

Electronics & Hazardous Materials

Electronics such as TVs, computers, and monitors require separate handling as e-waste. We route these items to appropriate electronics recycling facilities.We do not haul hazardous materials, including liquid paint, chemicals, pesticides, fuel, or similar substances. If you have questions about a specific item, just ask - we'd rather tell you upfront than show up and not be able to take it.

Yard Waste

Yard waste, including grass clippings, branches, and organic debris, is not accepted at standard transfer stations. We route yard waste to appropriate composting or green waste facilities. If you have a large volume of yard waste, let us know when you call for a quote so we can factor in the appropriate disposal route.
